How to Paint Old Wood Furniture Modern...With Colored Paint and a Marker!

How to Paint/Update Old Furniture
This end table before I got my crafty little hands on it defied shabby-chic. It wasn't chic at all actually...so much so that it was in storage. My mother, being the original do-it-yourselfer, had gotten her hands on it years ago and attempted to stain it. So, before my revamp, it was a dark wood, some areas shiny from the stain and some areas scratched and chipped from time and ALL UG-LY. The picture of the brown, wooden table is not my before photo because I don't have a before photo of my table. However, and you just have to trust me, the wood table pictured is pretty close to the look of mine in it's previous state...except mine was WAY...MORE...UG-LY-ERRRR!

Funkadelic Footwear - My new shoes and where to buy them online.

Just as Carrie Bradshaw orgasmically uttered to a window-displayed, pink, ruffly, high-heeled shoe, I attest..."Hello Loverrrrr!"

These zigzag, stacked wedges came from God, in the disguise of a UPS guy, along with the 6 other pairs I ordered from www.amiclubwear.com. If you have not already checked them out, Go! Now! Forget my blog and go!

In my opinion, and for my measly shopping budget (which encompasses every penny I earn) I think they have the best shoe selection and the best prices...I'm talking dirt cheap ladies. Don't overlook their homepage which often contains a password that you can provide when you are checking out to get whatever promotional discount they have going on...I've seen 40-50% off!

How to Make a Feather Skirt Peplum DIY, Without Sewing

How to Make a Peplum from Feathers
When these vintage-inspired, short, over-skirts became all the rage, I immediately started thinking up how to put my personal spin on the accessory. Search Google Shopping for 'feather peplum' and find one for purchase, I dare ya! Not there right? Feathers it was! After all, one doesn't wrap up in a peplum for the ballgame. This was going to be my outfit addition for an appropo, special occasion. And so began my feather peplum creation. What do you think? Making this thing is sooooo easy peasy I almost feel a little embarrassed and "high-n-mighty" to be giving you instructions on how to glue feathers to elastic...but here goes. Please leave feedback.

Happy Hour Martini Cake Balls - How to make them.

I've been experimenting quite a bit with these little guys...and they've become a staple outlet for my manic creativity urges...or splurges. I've trial and error'd my way through all the internet recipes and tips/tricks for making cake pops and I'm currently devoted to a pretty honed in process. It is my pleasure to share it with you and hopefully you can use it or take from it what you need for your process. Because anyone who has attempted cake pops knows it is not a simple as it seems and almost every step requires the skill of seasoned cake popper to avoid the "1 good pop for every 10 bad ones" technique. Read on to learn my steps on how to make cake pops and scroll down to follow my steps to decorating your cake pops like my Happy Hour Martini ones.
