Drape the pearls around the inside hardware of the lampshade. Almost all shades are work with this technique even if they don't look exactly like the one in the photo.
Grab some fishing line or clear jewelry making string and tie it around the top of the lamp shade's hardware. You may have to use two or three lines of string so the shade hangs level.
